4. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Gardens

The SSR Gardens are the second-best botanical gardens in the world after the Kew Gardens in London. The garden’s centerpiece is a pond having enormous Victoria amazonica water lilies. These lilies are extremely pleasing to the eyes especially when they at their biggest in the month of January. The best time to go to Mauritius for your honeymoon is April to June and September to December. It is important to note that the best season for surfing in Mauritius is from June to August when the weather is relatively cooler. Also, the best month for snorkeling and diving is in December.
