About Dubai Tourism

One of the seven emirates in the U.A.E, Dubai is one country that has most intelligently used Western technology to its advantage and created a self-sustaining economy while holding on to its culture and traditions. Along with various industries like automobile, banking and logistics, tourism is a very big contributor to the country’s economy.  Dubai’s man-made marvels, bustling bazaars, happening nightlife, plethora of entertainment options as well as exciting adventure sports draw tourists from all over the world and boosts Dubai tourism.

With Avant-garde engineering and meticulous planning, the people of Dubai have successfully turned this desert into an oasis that offers the most exciting entertainment avenues for travellers. During the winter months, a grand shopping festival is held. This festival is a key attraction in Dubai and tourism too gets a major boost from this one-of-a-kind event.

Visitors coming to Dubai with a well-curated Dubai tourism package can enjoy everything ranging from desert safaris to city adventures to luxurious cruises.

Experience The Best Of Dubai

When in Dubai, travellers are sure to be spoilt for choices as there are way too many things to do and see in Dubai.

•    Burj Khalifa: The Burj Khalifa is currently the world’s tallest tower and an architectural wonder that attracts people from all over the world. It is apparently the biggest highlight of Dubai travel tourism as every other person who aspires to visit Dubai wants to see the Burj Khalifa before anything else. Besides the Las Vegas theme fountain and the viewing deck, the light and sound show is another key attraction of the Burj Khalifa as it continues to mesmerise the spectators with its dynamic projections.

•    Museum of the Future: A futuristic museum like none other, the Museum of the Future is a recently added star attraction of the Dubai travel and tourism industry. Visitors coming to this museum can hop on a fictional journey and experience life as it may be in 2071.

•    Global Village: Whenever one talks about Dubai tourism, the Global Village automatically finds mention as this is a cultural melting pot like none other. Here, people can experience the cultures of different countries and participate in the most amazing carnival that one can ever be to. Food, shopping, entertainment and fun, perhaps everything that defines a fantastic vacation can be found here.

•    Dubai Miracle Garden: 72,000 sqm of fresh flowers all around; the Dubai Miracle Garden is indeed a miracle. With over 500,000 fresh flowers and living plants, the Smurfs village and the exotic floating lady are some of the masterpieces of this beautiful garden. The Butterfly Garden which is right beside the Miracle Garden is another popular attraction in Dubai.

•    Dubai Frame: Another architectural wonder forged in steel, aluminium and reinforced concrete, the Dubai frame in Zabeel Park is a symbolic bridge between the past and present of Dubai. There is a sky deck atop the building from where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of both parts of Dubai.

•    Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark:  Another star attraction of Dubai Tourism is the world’s largest waterpark. Here visitors can enjoy the most high-speed turns and drops and even try out the most iconic waterslide in the world. Visitors can even enjoy the experience of being up-close with Dolphins, sharks, sea lions and more.

How To Reach Dubai

•    By Flight: The Dubai International Airport is the busiest in UAE and is well connected to all parts of the world. FlyDubai, Etihad and Emirates operate flights to over 100 destinations all over the world. The airport is well connected by various means of public transport and travellers can easily reach the city centre in no time as the airport is just about 5 km away. Al Maktoum International Airport in Jebel Ali, Sharjah International Airport in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi International Airport are some of the other popular airports that are well connected to the city.

•    By Train: The Emirate Express indeed runs between Emirate countries and also connects Dubai. However, there are no train routes that connect the rest of the world with Dubai.

•    By Road: Although Dubai has an excellent road network and is well connected to Saudi Arabia and Oman, people most fly into the city. Residents of the GCC countries can drive in the UAE with their driving license and so can people from many other countries; certainly with valid drivers’ license.

What are you waiting for? Chalo Bag Bharo Nikal Pado!

One of the wealthiest of the seven emirates that comprise the U.A.E, Dubai is one of those global cities where people from various nationalities co-exist and thrive. With some of the world’s tallest skyscrapers adorning its skyline and the most awe-inspiring architectural wonders decorating its coastline, Dubai is one place where travellers can expect to enjoy all that defines luxury. Right from the World’s largest theme park to an entire market dedicated to the sale of gold ornaments, Dubai has the most intriguing places to explore.

Although Islam is a prominent religion of the land, people from different cultures and ethnicities co-exist and thrive in Dubai. The city not only boasts of world-class infrastructure, it also has every modern amenity required for a comfortable lifestyle. Moreover, the city is relatively crime-free which gives Dubai tourism a boost and makes Dubai feature in the bucket list of every travel enthusiast.

Along with its futuristic and awe-inspiring buildings, another aspect that promotes Dubai travel and tourism is its exciting coast line adorned with gigantic man-made islands like the Palm Jumeirah and the “World” island.

Once a small fishing village, Dubai today operates one of the largest and busiest man-made harbours and ports and supports a rapidly growing economy.

Best Time to Visit Dubai

The only drawback of this dazzling city is perhaps its weather conditions. With temperatures shooting upto 40 degrees and high humidity, you cannot experience any outdoor activities during the summer months.

The winters i.e. the time from December to March however are pleasant and certainly the peak time for Dubai tourism. The temperature during these months is usually between 16 to 20 degrees with clear skies and low humidity.

The spring and autumn season, from March to October is also a pleasant time for a trip to Dubai as the weather during this time is quite comfortable.  This is that time of the year when adventure sports and activities like desert safaris and dune bashing contribute positively to Dubai travel tourism.
