If you travel in June to August, expect hotter weather but enjoy fewer crowds and great deals, plus plenty of indoor attractions.

The United Arab Emirates is one of the most popular tourist destinations for our guests, offering the touch of both modernity and tradition.

Known for its glittering skyscrapers, desert safaris, luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture, and luxurious hotels, the places to visit in the UAE are in such contrast to each other. Add to that some pristine beaches, souks, palm-shaped islands, unmatched hospitality and a lively nightlife scene, and you have a country that offers you a complete package for relaxation, rejuvenation and adventure, all at the same time.

Whether you are planning a short break or a longer family holiday, there is always something new to discover and places to see in the UAE. For those seeking luxurious experiences on a budget, our wallet-friendly United Arab Emirates tour packages are worth checking out.

Best Time to Visit the UAE

The UAE is situated in an arid, subtropical region that experiences a desert climate with year-round sunshine and mild winters. The weather is usually hot and humid in the coastal areas and dry and hot inland.

November to February: Marks the peak season and is the best time to visit, for the weather is cooler and outdoor activities and most tourist attractions in the UAE are open to the public.

June to August: Summer is the off-season and can be very hot. However, due to fewer crowds, it is when you can find great deals on flights and accommodation. Moreover, if you enjoy indoor activities like visiting museums or historical places in the UAE and waterparks, summer can be the perfect time to visit.

FAQs

Q1. What’s the deal with camel racing?

Camel racing is a big thing in the UAE, and it’s not just for tourists! The camels are equipped with robot jockeys (yes, robot jockeys), and races can be a mix of tradition and high-tech innovation. You can catch a race in places like Al Marmoom or Racing at Al Wathba and even bid for a camel if you’re feeling adventurous!

Q2. What’s a cool way to see the UAE’s desert dunes?

Forget just driving through the dunes - dune bashing in a 4x4 is a must-do! You’ll zoom up and down the sand dunes in an adrenaline-pumping adventure. Want to try something even more unique? How about sandboarding down the dunes, or spending the night camping under the stars in a luxury desert resort?

Q3. What’s the best place to buy gold in the UAE?

Dubai is known as the “City of Gold,” and there’s a reason! The Gold Souk in Deira is a maze of jewellery stores where you can buy everything from gold bars to intricate necklaces. If you are feeling adventurous, try haggling for a good price, and be ready for some intense bargaining!

Q4. Are there any hidden gems in the UAE’s nature?

Beyond the city lights, the UAE has some incredible nature spots. For instance, Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah is the UAE’s highest mountain and offers breathtaking views, hiking trails, and the world’s longest zipline. There are also serene wadis (valleys) in places like Wadi Shawka where you can swim in natural pools.

Q5. What’s a quirky experience in the UAE that’s a bit off the beaten path?

Take a trip to Al Ain, the “Garden City” of the UAE, where you can visit the Al Ain Zoo and see rare animals like white rhinos and Arabian oryx. While you’re there, check out the Jebel Hafeet mountain for stunning views and stop by the Hot Springs for a natural dip—it's one of the coolest (and warmest) hidden gems!
