Travel has always been a source of joy for me and my family, and for years now, Veena World has been a big part of that joy. This Vietnam tour was our 11th tour with Veena World, and like every time, it gave us memories we will cherish forever. I felt compelled to share our experience with everyone, as a small gesture of gratitude for the wonderful journey we had.

A Beautiful Beginning in Halong Bay
Our holiday began with the breathtaking landscapes of Halong Bay. The emerald waters, the limestone islands, the peaceful cruise experience—it all felt like stepping into a postcard. We enjoyed kayaking, cave exploration, swimming in the bay, and even a serene Tai Chi session on deck. Spending a night on the cruise was truly unforgettable.

Hanoi – A Perfect Blend of Culture and History
Our time in Hanoi was equally enriching. The Water Puppet Show introduced us to Vietnam’s artistic heritage, while the narrow and exciting Train Street gave us a unique local experience.
We also visited some iconic landmarks—the Temple of Literature, the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the One Pillar Pagoda, and Ba Dinh Square. Each place carried its own charm and story.

Da Nang – Nature, Adventure & Wonder
Next came Da Nang, where we rode one of the world’s longest cable cars to Ba Na Hills and walked on the iconic Golden Bridge, held up by giant stone hands. The view was spectacular.
We also spent time at Fantasy Park, visited the peaceful Linh Ung Pagoda with its majestic Lady Buddha statue, explored the Marble Mountains, and enjoyed the colourful, illuminated Dragon Bridge.
Even the rain could not dampen our enthusiasm—it only made the journey more memorable.

Ho Chi Minh City – Stories of Resilience & Moments of Celebration
In Ho Chi Minh City, the War Remnants Museum took us through an emotional part of Vietnam’s history. We also saw the beautiful Saigon Central Post Office and the Independence Palace.
In the evening, we celebrated a fellow traveller’s birthday—another reminder that Veena World tours always feel like one big family.
A Day in the Mekong Delta
Our visit to the Mekong River Delta was magical. We travelled to Unicorn Island, sipped honey tea, tasted fresh fruits, enjoyed music by local artists, and took a serene boat ride through the narrow canals. Watching coconut candies being made and having lunch on Phoenix Island made the experience even more special.
We also visited the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda, with its towering Buddha statues and striking blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, French, Roman, and Khmer architecture.

Exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels
The last leg of our tour took us to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an engineering marvel from Vietnam’s wartime history. Walking through the tunnels and learning how they were built was an eye-opening experience. It’s incredible how much the people of Vietnam endured with strength and resilience.
Heartfelt Thanks to the People Who Made This Journey Special
A big part of why our tour was so memorable was the people behind it:
Our Tour Manager – Mr. Kiran Jadhav
He was calm, supportive, friendly, and managed everything beautifully. We rate his efforts as “Excellent”. His presence made our entire journey smooth and enjoyable.

Local Guides
Across the cities, we met wonderful guides.
A special mention for:
- Charlie in Ho Chi Minh – truly outstanding
- Mrs. Meri in Hanoi
- Vin in Da Nang
Their knowledge and warmth enriched our experience at every step.
Chinchwad Sales Office Team
I also want to appreciate Mrs. Swarupa Joshi and Mrs. Sharvari Shinde for always guiding us patiently and helping us choose the right tour every time. Their support has been invaluable to us over the years.
A Personal Touch
To preserve the memories of this tour, I created a day-by-day presentation with photos and details. Sharing this was my way of capturing the essence of our journey—and I’m happy that Veena World appreciated it.
With Gratitude,
Thank You, Veena World
Travelling with Veena World has always felt special, and this 11th tour reminded us why.
From stunning destinations to seamless planning and warm hospitality—everything came together beautifully.
We look forward to many more journeys with Veena World.
Here’s to exploring the world and celebrating life, one destination at a time.
