The temple has three chambers; the western chamber leads to a middle chamber that consists of inscriptions and images of Naranarayana. Umananda Temple

In close proximity to Kamakhya Temple lies the Umananda Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the consort of Goddess Parvati, also called Uma. The temple is a revered sacred pilgrimage site offering some stunning views from the riverfront. A short ferry ride will take you from the banks of the Brahmaputra to the temple island.
