Family Holidays Tour Packages

FAQs - Everything you need to know

• How is a customised family holiday different from a Veena World Family Tour group departure?

A customised family holiday is designed exclusively for your family with dates, destinations, hotel category and pace chosen entirely by you, whereas a Family Tour group departure follows a fixed itinerary and travels alongside other families on a set schedule. Customised holidays offer complete privacy and flexibility.

• Which destinations are popular for customised family holidays?

Popular customised family holiday destinations include Europe for cultural immersion, Singapore and Dubai for family-friendly attractions and theme parks, Bali and Thailand for a mix of culture and relaxation, and various India destinations for shorter family getaways. Veena World can design a customised itinerary to virtually any family-friendly destination.

• What is included in a Veena World customised family holiday?

Veena World customised family holidays include flights where specified, hotel accommodation with family room configurations, meals as arranged in the itinerary, sightseeing and activities suited to the family's preferences, all transfers, and dedicated on-ground support throughout the trip, all tailored to the family's specific requirements and budget.

• Can I choose specific hotels for my customised family holiday?

Yes. One of the key benefits of a customised family holiday is the ability to select specific hotels based on your preferences, whether that is a particular resort, a specific room configuration for the family, or proximity to attractions of interest. Your Veena World holiday specialist will present options and finalise your choices.

• How far in advance should I plan a customised family holiday?

It is advisable to plan a customised family holiday at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance, particularly for international destinations requiring visas, and even earlier for peak season travel during school holidays when hotel and flight availability can be limited. Early planning also allows more flexibility in tailoring the itinerary to your preferences.

• Does a customised family holiday include a tour manager?

Customised family holidays do not typically include a group tour manager as is standard on group departures, but Veena World provides comprehensive on-ground support through local representatives and 24/7 assistance. For families wanting a dedicated escort throughout the trip, this can be arranged as an additional service.
