I have planned and booked my own travel arrangements all my life. I was apprehensive if group tours are for young people like me and will I like them. We happened to be on this group tour as our family was planning to see NZ as part of a group tour and we wanted to see it with them. As a group of 6, we knew there were lots of challenges associated with travelling especially when 4 of them are seniors, be it in terms of catering the food preferences or covering as many places and experiences as possible. This was my first ever group tour and I couldn't be happier than how it went. This was the most enjoyable vacation I had where my focus was entirely on having fun and experiencing the best a country had to offer. This was my first vacation where my only job was to have fun. Usually I would be driving, planning, worrying about weather but this time I was just enjoying the tour and having fun with my family and the group as a whole. A huge credit for this goes to our tour manager, Prathamesh, who showed care, understanding and patience with everyone and in every situation. He ensured we had the best possible experience, be it with the games played on long bus rides or encouraging people to share their experiences with everyone as well as dropping knowledge about all the places we were visiting or his past experiences. He was honest, accommodating , flexible and displayed an incredible amount of knowledge about not just New Zealand but all the tours he had been on. During this journey, Prathamesh became much more than a tour manager for all of us. For me, he became a very good friend. I doubt there are better people to manage tours than him. The food arrangement was top notch and most accommodations were good (some places could be better). We were very happy with the breadth of NZ covered as well as the various sightseeing and adventures we experienced ( helicopter ride, cruise and bungy jump being the highlights). I don't think we could have covered as much by ourselves in this duration. We had such a good time that by the middle of the tour we were already looking at other tours available to take in future with family. We look forward to many tours with Veena World and Prathamesh in future.

Hi Little late on feedback. Sorry. It took time to come down from the heavenly beauty of the destination to the real life. Definitely we lived in some different world for 10 days and had lifetime memories with us. All was possible with precise and meticulous planning and equally admirable execution of the same. To cover all those points in stipulated time frame was superb. It shows all the hardworking right from office team to on field team. Travel food hotels everything was ossum. Special thanks and appreciation for our tour guide Mr Shailesh Loke. Very soft spoken helpful confident equally strong enough to make everyone to move with the plan. Itinerary (Day Wise)
Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua (1 Night)
Mumbai to Mumbai tour guests will report at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Auckland. Midnight arrival at Auckland. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests through the airport formalities and proceed to transit hotel stay at Auckland. After breakfast we proceed to Rotorua – known for its bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers, natural hot springs and fascinating Maori culture. En route we visit Waitomo Glowworm Caves – an ancient natural cave. Here we take a boat ride through the glowworm grotto, marvel at thousands of magical glowworms.

Rotorua – Auckland (1 Night)
Today we enjoy the Maori show – Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand Aotearoa, they perform traditional arts of Maori culture. Let’s experience Maori culture's close connection with nature and New Zealand, you can also click pictures with the performers. Later we visit a Te Puia / Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve – showcasing bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers and natural hot springs. We then enjoy the Sheep Shearing Show at Agrodome – here you are introduced to 19 breeds of sheep and witness a live sheep shearing demonstration, you’ll learn the remarkable story of New Zealand and discover the full process of wool making. We then proceed to Auckland.

Auckland – Christchurch (1 Night)
Today we fly to Christchurch. Upon arrival we visit International Antarctic Centre to experience a taste of this unique continent and learn about the human impact on the wildlife as well as plant system of Antarctica. Here we get a chance to experience real snow, ice as well as an indoor Antarctic storm. Later we visit Willow Bank Wildlife Reserve which has public displays of various animal species including Tuatara, Kiwi, Brown Teal and Duvaucel's gecko.

Christchurch – Arthur’s Pass – Fox Glacier / Franz Josef (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Fox Glacier – a town tucked into the forested foothills of southern Alps. We enjoy a scenic drive on The Great Alpine Highway. Witness the charming historic towns and dramatic landscapes during the drive. En route we pass through one of the highest and most spectacular pass across the Southern Alps – Arthur’s Pass.

Fox Glacier / Franz Josef – Wanaka – Queenstown (3 Nights)
Today we enjoy a helicopter ride (subject to weather condition) which offers exceptional views. Later we proceed to Queenstown – a city that sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps, renowned for adventure sports is the birthplace of bungee jumping. En route we visit Puzzling world – featuring a multi-level outdoor maze, optical illusion rooms and a cafe with table puzzles at Wanaka.

Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Today we visit Milford sound – a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a stunning natural attraction in Fiordland National Park with its magical combination of mountain peaks, ink-dark waters and superb dramatic forest-clad cliffs. En route we see Te Anau Lake – largest glacial lake in southern New Zealand, Mirror Lakes – set of lakes with lovely reflections of the Earl Mountains lying just north to the Te Anau Lake, Knobs Flat, Cascade Creek, Lake Furgus, Holyford Valley Lookout, Monkey creek, Hummer Tunnel and Chasm Waterfall. Upon arrival we embark on scenic Milford sound cruise and sail through mesmerizing landscapes of Fiordland National Park to view vistas of Mitre Peak – one of the most photographed peaks in New Zealand. Later we stroll around Queenstown waterfront area.

We then visit bungee jumping point on Kawarau River and take a stroll around Arrow Town - historic gold mining town in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. Later we board skyline gondola ride to visit Bob Peak which offers amazing view of Queenstown. In the afternoon we experience thrills of Jet Boat Ride in Kawarau River and take photo stop at backdrop of Lake Wakatipu.

Today we explore Christchurch City we visit Cardboard Cathedral – built using Cardboard tubes, timber and steel and designed by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. Later we fly to Auckland.

Auckland – Departure to hometown
Today we explore Auckland city we see Harbour Bridge – an eight-lane motorway bridge over the Waitemata Harbour, Westhaven Marina – home to over 2,000 boats including privately owned yachts and launches making it one of the biggest marinas in the world, Queen Street – once a dirty canal leading out to sea, today is the heart of central business district (CBD) and a shoppers paradise, Auckland Waterfront – a true gem in the Heart of the city. Later we visit the Auckland Sky Tower Observatory Deck – the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, standing tall at 328 meters as an icon of Auckland's sky line for 20 years, enjoy the breath-taking views of the city.

During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.
Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.
Sightseeing attraction: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible.
Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star.
Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.
Visa: Veena World takes maximum tourists from India to New Zealand through group tours, customized holidays and corporate tours (MICE). Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assists thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa application and submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest’s behalf when applicable. However, all guests should be aware of the fact that ‘issuance or granting of visa to any guest’ is at the sole discretion of respective country’s consulates/embassy. Veena World does not play any role in the actual granting of the visa. Veena World cannot be held responsible for delay or rejection of the visa by the respective consulate. Remarks
- All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
- ‘In Case if any sightseeing is not done due to weekly closure, an alternative sightseeing will be done for the same’.
- Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
- Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance.
