Itinerary (Day Wise)

Mumbai to Mumbai tour guests will report at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Sydney.
Upon arrival, the Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests through the airport formalities and proceed to the hotel.
Welcome to Sydney – a bustling city, known for its vibrant culture and adorned by stunning beaches and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Immerse yourself in the beautiful natural landscapes and get ready for the eight most wonderful days of your life.
In the evening, we visit the Sydney Tower Eye Observatory Deck, which is the tallest building in Sydney with an observatory deck offering a spectacular 360-degree view of the city.

The day begins with a soak in Sydney’s pleasant weather. We head to Sydney’s most exciting location, Darling Harbour, which is a splendid waterside location at the heart of Sydney, reserved only for pedestrians. Here we visit the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium, wherein you can get up close with sharks, rays, turtles, jellyfish, and much other exotic underwater life. Later, we visit the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Australia is home to some of the world’s most unique and fascinating animals, and they’re all here!!! Walk through the iconic Australian habitats and encounter some of the rare animals that call Australia their home. We then visit the Sydney Opera House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most iconic landmarks with a unique shape. Get to know this iconic building in a better way as you take a guided tour inside, walk through its every aspect and marvel at the vaulted ceilings. We see the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the largest steel arch bridges, and The Rocks, one of the oldest areas of the city, known for its narrow lanes, colonial buildings, and sandstone churches. Let the waves hit your feet and the sand be your seat as we head to Bondi Beach. In the evening, we embark on the Sydney Harbour Cruise. On one hand, you have the endless Pacific Ocean and on the other, you have the edge of the cliff. Even a drive across this incredible bridge is so exhilarating. Further, we reach Jervis Bay, which is a paradise of white sand beaches and turquoise waters on the south coast of New South Wales. It’s time to get the adventure vibes rolling as we board a dolphin watching cruise. Watch the playful dolphins that call these waters their home. We then stop by Hyams Beach, where you get to wriggle your toes in some of the world’s whitest sands. We start exploring the city of Canberra with a visit to Mount Ainslie Lookout, which is a hill giving out picture-perfect vistas of the city. We then visit the New Parliament House, which is a unique and impressive architectural masterpiece and an iconic building that flashes in front of our eyes when we talk about Canberra. Australia also has snowy mountains, we make our way to Mount Buller, one of Australia’s most popular ski resort. Mount Buller provides you with ample opportunities to try your hand at skiing and snowboarding. Experience the many delights of snow as you play in it, make snowmen and capture all these magical memories on your cameras. You can even try your hand at tobogganing, which is quite similar to sledging and oh-so-fun. Up next is the Sculpture Park Walk, offering you a diverse collection of sculptural pieces, with each one having a story to tell. And yes, you need not to be a skier to have fun at Mount Buller. We see St. Patrick Cathedral, Town Hall, and Parliament House, followed by a visit to the Fitzroy Garden, which is a Victorian-style garden dotted with ornamental lakes, pavilions, fountains, sculptures, and a huge number of trees. Stroll through the shaded promenades. The garden’s most appealing attraction is the actual 18th-century cottage where Australia’s discoverer, Captain James Cook, spent his childhood — Captain Cook’s Cottage. Whether you are a cricket fan or not, when in Melbourne you can’t resist visiting the historic and iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. This 160-year-old stadium has been witness to so many records and celebrations. A behind-the-scenes tour of the MCG reveals more than 150 years of Australia’s sporting history. Explore the stadium's inner sanctum and walk on the divine turf. Today we ride the historic City Circle Tram and get around Central Melbourne, seeing Docklands, the City Museum, the Princess Theatre, etc. We end our City Circle Tram ride at Federation Square, a bustling city square with an iconic structure. We then have some free time at The Atrium, a magnificent galleria of glass and steel and a peerless indoor venue for exhibitions, artistic installations, showcases, and markets. With lovely fountains and sound/light shows, this is a great place to be. Simply walk into a café, grab a coffee and your favourite book, and relax.

Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.

  • Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

Remarks

  • All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
  • ‘In Case if any sightseeing is not done due to weekly closure, an alternative sightseeing will be done for the same’.
  • Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
  • Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance.
