“Greetings” We were part of the 39 member senior citizen group who had gone on “the 13 days Europe trip from July 14’ 2023”. Tour organized was by Veena World Mumbai and led by the tour managers Mr. Amit Soman and Mr. Jagdish Pashte. The choice of places for visit in the itinerary were chosen in such a way as to optimize the sight- seeing delight within the limited time. The design and planning team of VW deserves the merit. Visit of London, Paris and Italy and the sight of the various monuments has taken us through the history and the precious historical incidents of those places. The Tower of London Museum adorned by “our Koh-I-Noor Diamond” was the jewel of our London visit. Similarly, the illuminated Eiffel Tower at night was an amazing piece of view at Paris. The paintings and art work of St. Peter's Basilica in Italy depicted a beautiful view of the art, culture and heritage of the roman civilization and empire. Austria, Netherlands and Liechtenstein filled our hearts with joy by their picturesque greenery, mountains, valleys and lakes. The visit of Rhine Water Falls and the boat ride across the Rhine river in Germany remain one of the life-time memories that one can carry. The peak of Mt.Titlis in Switzerland was the jewel in the crown of the whole Europe trip. The drive towards the highest peak at Mt.Titlis and enjoyment on the ice and snow fall were truly breath taking moments and our life-time ambition of visiting the dream destination of Switzerland was achieved here. The whole trip across western Europe was a complete feast to the eyes and the spectacular moments at each place gifted us with the ecstasy and thrill that will be carried forever as life time memories. The various hotels booked for stay provided the necessary comfort and convenience which rejuvenated us with the energy for the next day’s trip. At the start of the trip, though, we being senior citizens, had apprehensions about availability of Indian food at various places of Europe, the tasty Indian style cuisine were served for lunch and dinner at various hotels selected. For breakfast also, the continental buffe provided was to our satisfaction. The planning and operations team and the tour managers of VW have done a very good job in this regard of bed and board. The VISA process was smooth and the support and the work behind the curtain of the VISA team of VW, including Mr. Rajasekhar (Bangalore) is worth appreciating. The process of providing us various information and the extent of information conveyed starting from pre-booking to the boarding of flight to Europe by the various staff of VW and the availability of details at the VW website made us tension-free and relaxed. Thanks to the PR and Guest relations staff of VW, including Mr. Akash (Mumbai) and Ms. Shweta Rani (Bangalore). The success of a hassle free smooth sailing trip mainly depends on the capability of the tour managers, who lead the group and organize the sight-seeing. We had the fortune of availing the services of a very efficient and capable tour manager, Mr. Amit Soman. His experience and problem solving ability were of a class by itself and were amply reflected on various occasions. He adorned a dual role of leading the group and as a tourist guide. The treasure of knowledge that he possesses about the places in Europe and its history is commendable and we had the privilege of enjoying the same. Hats off to Mr. Amit. A great future is assured for Amit Soman in the hospitality sector. Being a senior citizen group, we had the comfort of a second tour manager, Mr. Jagdish Pashte. Jagdish was much more than a tour manager, taking care of our requirements arising due to age. Without videos and photos, a trip becomes incomplete and Jagdish with his professional photography skills has made our tour memorable, by providing us with excellent life time-clicks. Facilitating us to carry sweet and pleasant memories of Europe trip. Thank you Jagdish. We are always obliged to you for these nice memories. Remarks
- All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
- ‘In Case if any sightseeing is not done due to weekly closure, an alternative sightseeing will be done for the same’.
- Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
- Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance. Excess baggage (if any) will be chargeable as per the airline policy and the same has to be borne by the guest.
