Itinerary (Day Wise)

Tour Guests will arrive at Chandigarh Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival at Chandigarh - the first planned city of India designed by renowned French architecture Le Corbusier, they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to hotel.
Today we visit Rock Garden – a garden full of sculptures is completely built from industrial waste, scraps, home waste and thrown-away items. In the evening we have a short Meet and Greet session.

Today we proceed to Manali, en route we drive past the Beas Sutlej Link Project, Pandoh Dam and Scenic Kullu Valley. During our tea halt we visit Kullu Shawl factory. In the evening we arrive at Manali – gorgeous hill station located in the heart of snowy mountains.

Today we visit Hidimba Mandir – set amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery – known for its architectural beauty. Later we enjoy a scenic walk along the riverside. In the evening we have free time for shopping.

Today we proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking and Hiking at an additional cost. Later we proceed to Jispa via the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet.

Today we proceed to Leh- a dream destination for many travellers. The landscape here is unlike anywhere in India and worldwide. In addition to the mesmerizing landscape, there are many turquoise blue lakes, beautifully constructed monasteries, snow-covered mountains and unimaginable sights that change every few kilometres. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Today we visit Shey Palace – used to be the summer retreat of the royal family of Ladakh, Rancho School - also known as Druk White Lotus school, Hemis Gompa – a Himalayan Buddhist monastery which is believed to be the wealthiest and the biggest monastery in Leh followed by a Photo stop at Thiksey monastery. Further we witness a Sindhu Darshan - one of the longest rivers in Asia, Hall of Fame War Museum – a museum constructed by the Indian Army in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars. Later we have free time for shopping.

Today we proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La - the world’s highest motorable pass. Nubra valley - the Shyok River meets the Siachen River to form this large valley separating the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges. Upon arrival we visit Maitreya Buddha – Perched on top of a monastery, it is the statue of Jampa Buddha, noted for its intricate carvings, brilliant craftsmanship and vivid colours. Later we visit Hunder Village and Cold desert - the only place in India where twin humped camels are found

Today we proceed to Turtuk village which was first opened for the tourists in the year 2010, while visiting Turtuk we pass by Thoise Airport (Military Airfield), then we visit Turtuk wooden bridge and Shyok war memorial. Later we walk through Baltic village. Further we visit Thang village (Subject to operation)- Northern most last village at LOC. Here we take a photo stop at LOC point

Today we proceed to Pangong Tso, also known as Pangong Lake - one of the world's highest saltwater lakes. The most notable feature of this lake are its ever-changing hues. The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a large variety of migratory birds like Brahmani Ducks, Rare black necked cranes and Seagulls. Later we proceed to Leh via Changla pass, one of the highest motor-able road in the world. The name Changla pass literally means "Northern Pass" (Chang means north and La means Pass).

Today we visit Patthar Sahib Gurudwara - a beautiful Gurudwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, Magnetic Hill – also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity, Sangam of the rivers Indus & Zanskar – two of Himalaya's great rivers; Zanskar and Indus merge to form a spectacular view, Shanti Stupa – built by the Japanese monks to promote world peace In the evening, we enjoy the Folk dance show.

Airline: On group tours, we generally fly well-reputed airlines that are group-friendly.
During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.

Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Sightseeing attractions: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible.

Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star.

Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.

Post-Covid Precautions: All tours are available for fully vaccinated guests (both doses of Covishield/Covaxin with a 15-day cooling-off period post the 2nd dose) and are subject to government directives and orders, airline connectivity, and visa regulations.
All guests must follow the prevailing mandatory requirements for travel, such as RT-PCR tests (departure and arrival), a certificate of full vaccination, web check-in, self-declaration, etc., as per the airline, state, or country. Any cost incurred for such requirements is not part of the tour price and should be borne by the guests.

  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
  • A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
  • Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
  • Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
