Itinerary (Day Wise)

Mumbai to Mumbai tour guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Muscat – the capital of Oman surrounded with mind-blowing deserts, spectacular mountains and a pristine coastline.
In the evening we stroll around Muttrah Corniche – a promenade stretching for 3 kilometres along the waterfront and is lined with restaurants, cafes.

Today we visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque – biggest mosque in Oman is a wonder of modern architecture and is a fusion of Omani, Islamic, and Middle-Eastern architectural styles. Then we enjoy the Dolphin watching cruise - spot the friendliest creatures in their natural habitat indulging in flips and other tricks.
In the afternoon, we pass by Al Alam Palace, and visit Royal Opera House – Oman's premier destination for music, arts, and culture. The complex consists of a theatre, auditorium, landscaped gardens, an art centre, and cultural markets and can accommodate up to 1100 people. (subject to operation)
Later we have free time for shopping at Muttrah Souk – which is most popular souk in Oman and listed as one of the oldest marketplaces in the world.

Today we proceed to Ras Al Jinz – located to the east of the Arabian Peninsula, it’s a serene fishing village with turtle reserve which houses the endangered turtle, Chelonia mydas. En route we visit Bimmah Sinkhole – also called Hawiyat Najm is crater like hole filled with turquoise colored water and formed due to erosion of lime stone. It’s a natural wonder must visit when we are in Oman. Followed by Wadi Tiwi – a canyon situated where Hajar mountains reaches the sea near Gulf of Oman. Wadi Tiwi is a truly beautiful wadi with the lush plantations giving it a greener feel than other.
Upon arrival at Ras Al Jinz, we visit The Turtle Reserve to enjoy guided turtle nesting tour which allow us to witness the interesting nesting process of endangered turtle breeds.

Today we proceed to Bidiyah – a town in a middle of the Eastern Oman is well known for its Golden Sand Dunes and ancient forts. Enroute we visit Wadi Bani Khalid – one of the most famous Wadis of Oman popular for its large pools of emerald green water surrounded by tall palm trees. Unlike other Wadis in Oman Wadi Bani Khalid is known to have a constant flow of water throughout the year. Here we enjoy photography at beautiful backdrop of this desert oasis. Upon arrival, we visit Wahiba Sands – an ocean of sand dunes that seems to stretch out endlessly. Here we enjoy thrilling Dune Bashing – One of the skilled drivers at Wahiba Sands will take us on their drive and cruise us through the serene sand dunes.
Here we see witness beautiful sunset amidst desert landscape. Guests with an adventurous spirit can experience thrilling activities like sand boarding, Camel Safari and Hot air balloon ride at an additional cost.

Today we proceed to Nizwa – an ancient mountainous city. En route we visit Oman Across Ages Museum – is inspired by the extraordinary landscapes and geometric profiles of the Al Hazar Mountains and its canyon. As a cultural landmark the Museum transports visitors across the nation’s 800 million year history through a series of immersive, high-tech experiences.
Upon arrival we visit Nizwa Fort – built in a 17th Century, dotted with maze of rooms, high-ceilinged halls, doorways, terraces, narrow staircases and corridors; this fort is Oman’s most visited and most famous monument.

Today we proceed to Jebel Akhdar – perched in the hilly green mountains of Al Hajar. Here we will enjoy walking tour of Jebel Akhdar village, where we will get an opportunity to explore numerous village and the natural wonders of Oman. As we stroll through mountain trails, we will come across Alfaj Irrigation systems which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. The village visit will help us to understand of the history, lives and workings of the Omani villages. We then visit a date farm. Followed by Wadi Bani Habib – here we visit abandoned mountain village to admire the ancient architecture. In the late afternoon, we will visit Diana's Viewpoint.
Later we proceed to visit Jabreen Castle – built in 1675 by Imam Bil Arab Bin Sultan which was an important learning centre for astrology, medicine and Islamic law.

Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.
Visa: Veena World takes maximum tourists from India to Oman through group tours, customised holidays and corporate tours (MICE). Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assists thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa application and submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest’s behalf when applicable. However, all guests should be aware of the fact that ‘issuance or granting of visa to any guest’ is at the sole discretion of respective country’s consulates/embassy. Veena World does not play any role in the actual granting of the visa. Veena World cannot be held responsible for delay or rejection of the visa by the respective consulate. In the rare event of a visa delay or rejection, cancellation charges will apply as per the policy. We request all our guests to start the visa application process well in advance or immediately after the tour booking.
