Itinerary (Day Wise)

‘Mumbai to Mumbai Tour’ guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Copenhagen – the Danish capital known for its fairy-tale flair over the centuries. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests.
Today evening, we visit Tivoli Gardens- located in the heart of the city. Its scenery is beautiful with exotic architecture, historic buildings and lush gardens.

Note: As per the Schengen visa rule, we need to process your Schengen visa from the consulate of the country we’ll be entering first on our Europe tour or staying in for the maximum number of days. 'Joining & Leaving' guests will also have to get their visas processed from the consulate of the same country; otherwise, boarding might be denied by the airline, or even entry into that country can be banned.

Today we enjoy Copenhagen city, we visit Christiansburg palace- a palace and government building. It is the seat of the Danish Parliament, the Danish Prime Minister's Office, and the Supreme Court of Denmark.
Later in the orientation tour we see Renaissance Stock Exchange- also known as Børsbygningen, a 17th-century stock exchange in the centre of Copenhagen, followed by a famous statue of the Little Mermaid- a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. Later we embark on an overnight cruise to Oslo.

Today morning we arrive at Oslo – capital of Norway, a cosmopolitan city with an abundance of world-class architecture and museums. Upon arrival we explore Oslo city, we visit Vigeland Sculpture Park- the largest sculpture park in the world by a single artist, boasting over 200 pieces by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, Holmenkollen Ski Museum and its observation deck - World's oldest ski museum, it represents more than 4,000 years of skiing history, Norwegian polar exploration artefacts and an exhibition on snowboarding and modern skiing. The observation deck on top of the jump tower offers panoramic views of Oslo, Kon Tiki Museum- It houses vessels and maps from the Kon-Tiki expedition. Later we take a photo stop at Opera House- home of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway.

Today we experience the essence of Norway through Norway in a nutshell tour. In the morning we take a train from Geilo to Myrdal- Myrdal is a mountain railway station and junction, located on the Bergen Line. It is also the upper terminal of the Flåm Line local railway. From Myrdal we change our train and proceed to Flam- one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. This train will take us through some of the most beautiful mountain scenery, valleys and countless waterfalls. Later we proceed to Gudvagen by ferry and visit Sogne Fjord - King of the Fjords, is the largest and deepest fjord in Norway. Further we proceed to Bergen – known as the city with seven mountains. Upon arrival we explore Bergen city, we travel by a Funicular Tram ride to Mt. Floyen and enjoy the panoramic views of the Bergen city from the top.

Today we fly to Stockholm – the capital of Sweden combines modern attractions with historic charm. Upon arrival we visit Sky View Globe Arenas - world’s largest spherical building. From here we enjoy an amazing view of Stockholm city.

Today we explore Stockholm city, we visit Magnificent Town Hall- the building of Municipal Council which houses offices, conference rooms, ceremonial halls, and luxury restaurants, Royal Palace- the official residence of His Majesty the King of Sweden, with over 600 rooms. The palace dates back to the 18th century and is one of the most interesting historic buildings in Stockholm, Vasa Ship museum- Vasa is the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world and a unique art treasure. More than 95 percent of the ship is original, and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures, Ice Bar- a magical fairy tale adventure with the wondrous surroundings of snow and ice. In the evening we embark on an overnight cruise to Helsinki – the capital city of Finland well known for its innovative art, culture and architecture.

Today we enjoy Helsinki City, during the city orientation tour we see Modern Finlandia Hall- a dynamic, multipurpose venue located in the centre of Helsinki, City Hall- a central administrative building of Helsinki, Parliament House- the official location of the governing body of Finland, Presidential Palace- the official residence of the President, although today it is used primarily for presidential functions and receptions, the Monumental railroad station- one of the most visited site in the city, Lutheran Cathedral- the symbol of Helsinki. The church was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Olympic Stadium- built in 1938. Olympic Games were held here in 1952. Today it hosts both national and international sporting events and outdoor concerts, Sibelius monument- dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, Market Square- the most famous market in Finland, it has been a center of trade for hundreds of years. Later we proceed to Tallinn - capital city of Estonia by ferry.

Today we explore Tallinn city, we visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral- a Russian Orthodox Church. Later we walk through the city and see Toompea Hill- a limestone hill in the central part of the city. Today Toompea is the centre of the Government of Estonia and the parliament house, Old Town- a UNESCO World Heritage Site and world’s most recognised landmarks, Parliament building- also known as Toompea Castle, it was built in 13th century. Today the castle is home to Estonian parliament, Dome church- also known as St. Mary's Cathedral, is the oldest church in Tallinn and Estonia, 15th century Luhike Jalg Gate- also known as the walls around Tallinn city. Later we have free time for shopping.

Today we proceed to Riga- the capital of Latvia, is not only the crown jewel of Latvia, but also of the Baltics. En-route we explore Gutman’s Cave, the widest and highest cave in the Baltic countries. The cave has been formed over thousands of years due to erosion forced between the Gauja River and an underground spring. Further we proceed to Sigulda- the place where the nature lives in the town. Here we enjoy a cable car ride. Sigulda cable car offers a trip over the Gauja old valley, overlooking a charming landscape. In the evening swe arrive at Riga.

Today we visit Rundale Palace - The Versailles of Latvia, is the largest and most famous palace in Latviai and it was built as a grand residence for the Duke of Courland. Then we visit Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum – one of the largest and oldest open air museum. The museum features Latvian traditions and everyday lives of Latvian peasants and villagers. Further we visit National library of Latvia. Later we take a photo stop at Freedom Monument – a memorial honouring soldiers killed during the Latvian War of Independence, followed by a walking tour of old town where we see Cat House - named for two black felines perched on the points of its towers. The Statssue of Roland – located in the center of the old town which symbolizes freedom of the city, Riga Town Hall and the Swedish Gate- part of the Old Town walls that went around Riga during the medieval times, serving as both fortification wall and as an important border for trade purposes. We then have a free time at Riga Town hall square to admire the beauty of this capital city.

Today we proceed to Vilnius – Largest city and the capital of Lithuania. Enroute we visit Hill of Crosses - a site of pilgrimage and it’s a symbol of desire for freedom, national pride and piety. Later we proceed to Šiauliai – the fourth largest city in Lithuania and known as ‘a gateway to the Hill of Crosses’. Later we explore Šiauliai city, we see Frenkel Villa - an early-20th-century palace museum with exhibits on applied arts & Japanese etchings, Sundial square - built in 1986, commemorating 750th birthday of Šiauliai city and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul - Renaissance architectural monument and the seat of the diocese of Šiauliai. In the evening we arrive at Vilnius.

Today we visit Aukštaitija National Park - the largest and most popular of Lithuania’s national parks, home to 126 lakes scattered among the park’s woods, hills, and villages. Here we visit geographical center of Europe, further we visit Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology. The museum is the first and only museum of its kind in the world, and explores the relationship of man and mankind with the cosmic world. Afterwards we visit Ginuciai watermill. We then visit Museum of Ancient Beekeeping in Stripeikiai. We then head to Paluse village, where you can see its wooden church.

Today we enjoy day trip of Kaunas - The second largest city of Lithuania. Upon arrival we explore Kaunas city, we see Old town - oldest part of the city, Town hall square - The oldest and the main square in Kaunas, Freedom Avenue - The main shopping avenue in Kaunas, Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul - a Roman Catholic cathedral basilica. Followed by a visit to Trakai Island Castle – an island castle on Lake Galve.

During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you to carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.

Transport:
For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size.
The seating arrangement in the coach is based on booking priority. Seat numbers 1 & 2 are reserved for Tour Managers and Tour Guides. Seat numbers 3 & 4 are reserved as Prime Seats which can be availed by paying an additional cost.
If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.

Sightseeing attraction:
Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice. Sometimes due to rush or changes in the reservation system, entrance to the sightseeing attractions may be unavailable; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible or refund of the entry fee will be given.

Hotels:
The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star. Kindly check your respective hotels before booking your tour.

Room Sharing:
Sometimes, two single unfamiliar travellers (gender - alike) share a room, should read the instruction paper along with the terms & conditions and abide by the same.

Meals:
On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary.
In case of early arrival or late departure due flight timings, guests will be provided an additional meal/s without any extra cost.
In case of connecting flights, if the transit time exceeds beyond five hours, guests will be provided with a meal/meal coupon.
Generally, meals are provided in the restaurants. On certain occasions, packed meals will be provided for the ease of itinerary operation/sightseeing.
Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc.

Visa:
Veena World takes maximum tourists from India to Europe through group tours, customised holidays and corporate tours (MICE).
Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assist thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa application, visa submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest’s behalf wherever applicable. However, all guests should be aware of the fact that ‘issuance or granting of visa to any guest’ is at the sole discretion of respective country’s consulates/embassy.
Veena World does not play any role in the actual granting of the visa. Veena World cannot be held responsible for delay or rejection of the visa by the respective consulate. In the rare event of a visa delay or rejection, cancellation charges will be applicable as per the cancellation policy of Veena World.
We request all our guests to start the visa application process well in advance or immediately after the tour booking.
Certain consulates send the passports directly to the guest’s residential address as per the Visa application form. Guests are requested to thoroughly check if the visa is granted along with the validity and the status as Single/Double/Multiple entry visa required for the tour.
Guests who are Joining & Leaving (J&L) or guests already holding a visa or guests who are opting to do the visas on their own should check if the visa is granted along with the validity and the status as Single/Double/Multiple entry visa required for the tour.
Deviation guests who are leaving early or returning late than the scheduled tour, should check their visa status/validity according to their personal programme.

Upgradation on tour:
Flights: Group tours are based on economy class, if you wish to travel by Premium Economy / Business Class / First Class, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
Cruise: Cruise accommodation is generally in a room with a port hole or a room with a balcony. You can upgrade to higher category rooms by paying an additional cost subject to availability.
Trains: Train journeys during the tour are in Standard class. You can upgrade to higher category like Standard Premier or Business Premier by paying an additional cost subject to availability.
Vehicles: For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.

  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
  • A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
  • Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

Remarks

  • All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
  • Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
  • Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance. Excess baggage (if any) will be chargeable as per the airline policy and the same has to be borne by the guest.
