Itinerary (Day Wise)

Mumbai to Mumbai tour guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Barcelona – the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. Upon arrival Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city. Joining and Leaving tour guests will join the group on their own at the designated place or hotel.

Note: As per the Schengen visa rule, we need to process your Schengen visa from the consulate of the country we’ll be entering first on our Europe tour or staying in for the maximum number of days. 'Joining & Leaving' guests will also have to get their visas processed from the consulate of the same country; otherwise, boarding might be denied by the airline, or even entry into that country can be banned.

Today we explore Barcelona city, we take a cable car ride to Montjuic hill which gives us a panoramic views of the entire Barcelona city and the Tibidado hill. Later we see The 1992 Olympic stadium and Statue of Christopher Columbus. Further we proceed to Montserrat – a multi-peaked mountain range. Here we visit the monastery of Montserrat - situated on top of an unusual rock mountain. It is the highest point of the Catalan lowlands. The legend says that the benedictine monks found the statue, and they could not move the statue to build their monastery, so they decided to construct it around the statue. Later we drive back to Barcelona.

Today we visit UNESCO World Heritage site Sagrada Familia Cathedral - Antoni Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, expected to be completed in 2026 after almost 142 years of construction. Further we visit Park Guell Monumental Zone – a privatized park system composed of gardens and architectural elements. Later we spend some free time at Colourful La Ramblas - the most famous street in Barcelona.

Today we proceed to Andorra – one of the oldest and smallest countries in Europe. Upon arrival, we take a walking tour to experience the beauty and charm of Andorra. We walk through the scenic streets of Andorra la Vella, the capital of Andorra, and get a chance to discover the rich history, culture, and traditions of this beautiful country. We see Plaça de la Rotonda – a vibrant public square known for its iconic circular design and bustling atmosphere, Parc Central – a lush, expansive green space with its winding paths, vibrant flower beds, and serene water, Casa de la Vall – a historically significant home in Andorra la Vella, Church of Sant Joan de Caselles – a Romanesque church and Mirador del Roc del Quer - a natural rock formation known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Today we proceed to San Sebastian – a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain. Upon arrival, we visit The Comb of the Wind – one of the most celebrated sculptures by Basque artist Eduardo Chillida. It is a collection of three sculptures arranged as an architectural work. Later we visit the most famous beach in San Sebastian - La Concha Beach. La Concha Beach is San Sebastian's best known postcard image. We enjoy the view from the famous railings of its seaside promenade, making our way down for a stroll along the beach. Further we proceed to Bilbao – the largest city in the Basque Country of Spain.

Today we visit the iconic Guggenheim Museum, which is renowned for its architecture and contemporary art collection. Later we proceed to Rioja – a place well known for its wines that age for a long time. Upon arrival, we visit a traditional winery where winemaking traditions date back five generations. We explore the vineyards, learn about the wines and also taste some of them. Further we proceed to Salmanca - a beautiful city that offers something for everyone.

Today we visit Salmanca University - the oldest university in Spain and is home to some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Later we proceed to Avila - sometimes called the Town of Stones and Saints. Upon arrival, we visit Medieval Walls of Ávila. These magnificent city walls rise from the barren sunbaked Spanish plains like something straight out of a fairytale. Built to defend the town against the threat of the Moorish armies and were also featured in the popular series Game of Thrones. Further we proceed to Madrid – the capital and the most populous city of Spain also the third-largest city in the European Union.

Today we visit Prado Museum - the main Spanish national art museum which houses the world's richest and most comprehensive collection of Spanish paintings. Later we explore Madrid city, we see Plaza de Espana – one of Madrid's largest square, Cervantes Statue – the monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes, the Spanish novelist, poet and play writer, Cibeles fountain – a famous landmark which depicts Cybele the Great Mother of the Gods and Roman Goddess of fertility and the Parliament. Further we visit The Royal Palace – an official residence of the Spanish royal family. It is the largest functioning royal palace in Europe, here we see Lavish Interior Décor, paintings, sculptures, Royal Armoury and the Grand Staircase. Later we visit Puerto del Sol – a bustling public square of Madrid.

Note: In some cases, entrance to the Royal Palace may not be possible. In such instances, we will provide an alternative sightseeing option.

Today we proceed to Cordoba - This ancient Andalucían city, UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts world-famous Moorish architecture, beautiful courtyard patio houses and a beautiful river front. Upon arrival, we explore Cordoba city, we see Roman bridge, Arab waterwheels and Plaza del Potro – a public square, followed by a photo stop at Mezquita – the Mosque – Cathedral of Córdoba. Later we proceed to Seville – the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region, also known worldwide for its culture, traditions, artistic heritage and flamenco dancing.

Today we explore Seville city, we visit Catedral de Sevilla – massive gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Tomb of Christopher Columbus, followed by a photo stop at Moorish Tower - the bell tower of Seville Cathedral. We then visit The Alcazar of Seville - a royal palace and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Further we admire the iconic sights of Seville on a relaxing Guadalquivir river cruise. We then visit to the Spanish Square Seville or 'Plaza de España' – one of the most spectacular spaces in Seville also known as "the Venice of Seville”. In the evening, we enjoy the Flamenco Show.

Today we proceed to Ronda - a mountaintop city of Spain. Here we walk around Mondragon Palace, Duquesa de Parcent Square, and the New Bridge. We then visit Ronda’s historic bullring- one of the oldest in Spain. Further we drive through world’s renowned tourist destination Costa del Sol – the southern coast of Spain known for its Mediterranean old town and beautiful beach resorts. Here we visit Marbella - A glamorous town on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol. Upon arrival we stroll around Avenida del mar boulevard to see the famous Salvador Dali sculptures - 10 bronze sculptures by the genius Salvador Dalí, followed by a free time to relax at the waterfront area.

Today proceed to Mijas – famous for being one of Spain's whitewashed villages. Here we enjoy a beautiful burro-taxi ride also known as donkey-drawn cart ride. Further we proceed to Malaga - a port city on southern Spain known for its high-rise hotels and resorts jutting up from yellow-sand beaches. It is also the birthplace of famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. Here we visit Museo Casa Natal – the birthplace museum of the world famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Later we proceed to Murcia - a university city in south-eastern Spain.

Today we proceed to Valencia – a buzziest port city of Spain situated where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea. Upon arrival we visit Oceanogràfic València - one of the best Aquariums in Spain. Here we walk through the longest underwater tunnel and discover the only belugas whales in Europe. Followed by a photo stop at City of Arts and Sciences – a cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia. Further we walk through Valencia’s Old Town, and tick off highlights such as the Central Market (Mercado Central), town squares, and the Church of San Nicolas.

During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.

Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Sightseeing attraction: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible.

Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star.

Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., depending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respective destination.

  • Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
  • If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
  • For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.

Remarks

  • All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the evening.
  • Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
  • Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance. Excess baggage (if any) will be chargeable as per the airline policy and the same has to be borne by the guest.
