The Cellular Jail: Also known as 'Kala Pani', this is arguably the most famous Port Blair tourism spot. The old colonial prison was constructed by the British and was particularly used to exile Indian political prisoners. This prison houses several notable freedom fighters including Batukeshwar Dutt, Yogendra Shukla and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. You should consider watching the light and sound organized here. This show is held in memory of the martyrs and depicts the heart-wrenching history of the independence movement along with the lives of the prisoners in the jail.

Radhanagar Beach: Considered to be among the best beaches in Asia, a visit to Radhanagar Beach is a major attraction of Port Blair travel and tourism. Here you would get the opportunity to swim, sunbathe and enjoy a variety of beach activities. Snorkelling, scuba diving and parasailing is among the most commonly seen activities on Radhanagar Beach. The expansive stretches of sparkling white sands and azure waters of the beach would charm you at once, and would be a great place to enjoy leisurely time with your partner or family. Enjoying the panoramic sights of sunset on the beach would especially be a memorable experience. 

North Bay Coral Island: A holiday in Port Plair would seem to be incomplete without a trip to North Bay Coral Island. Here you would get the chance to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. It is especially a perfect destination for snorkelling. North Bay Island is characterized by its magnificent coral reefs and natural beauty, where you can get a close view of the underwater marine life and explore the Andaman’s signature white sand beaches.

Ross Island: Recently renamed as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island, this destination is dotted with dense forests and is known for its rich historical legacy. It was first occupied in 1782, with a sanatorium constructed during this period. In 1857, the British took over and established it as the administrative headquarters for the Andaman Islands. During this time, numerous government offices were built here. The ruins of these colonial-era structures, constructed by Indian prisoners, remain on the island. The historical sites of Ross Island, like the old church and man-made caves make it quite a captivating sightseeing spot.
