Sar Pass:

Lying at an altitude of approximately 13,800 feet, Sar Pass provides enthralling views of pristine lakes, verdant meadows and snow-capped peaks. It takes about a 48 km trek from Kasol to reach the place. On your trek, you would pass through dense forests, sparking streams, as well as expansive meadows Min Thach and Biskeri Thach. Subsequent to completing the trek, you may relax your muscles in the natural hot springs of Manikaran.

How To Reach Kasol

Due to its high altitude, Kasol is primarily connected to the rest of the country via roadways.

Air: There is no airport in Kasol. Kullu Manali Airport or the Bhuntar Airport is the airport nearest to this town. From the airport, you can take a cab or bus to reach Kasol. It is likely to take only about an hour or so to reach Kasol from Bhuntar Airport.

Rail: Kasol also does not have a railway station. You may take a train to Joginder Nagar railway station, and then reach Kasol via a bus or a cab. It takes 4.5 to 5 hours to reach Kasol from this station. 

Road: Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) operates regular buses between Kasol and nearby regions like Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. There are also buses connecting Kasol with nearby tourist destinations like Shimla, Dharamshala and Solan.
