Meet the Veena World Tour Manager at the airport and hop on into your vehicle and drive to Bishnoi Village!
The word ‘Bishnoi’ when loosely translated means the number 29, as it represents the 29 principles that the villagers live by. It is the famous destination of Rajasthan gifted with the panoramic beauty of Khejri trees and deers. This village includes Guda Bishnoi Lake to get an overview of nature perfect for a picnic spot. The villagers live there are stalwart towards worshiping nature in all its forms, particularly the asceticism towards plants and animal life. They even believe in praying green trees and animals that inhabit their territory. In this world where exploiting wildlife is increasing, this community is making an effort to conserve the environment.
Go on a Bishnoi village safari in an open air jeep to get a close peek into the unique tribal life of the region. Get a chance to witness crafts such as spinning, carpet-making and pottery by the natives and take some authentic works of art home. In the evening we enjoy traditional food.

Day 3Jaisalmer (Tent)
Jaisalmer (Tent) > Jaisalmer

It’s a day to honor the brave ones that fought for our country, today we visit Longewala - the Battlefield, the battle on which the super hit movie "Border" is based. The Battle of Longewala was one of the major battles fought on the western at the time of the India Pakistan War of 1971, we witness the battleground where the Indian army not only valiantly protected its post but also managed to inflict heavy losses on the Pakistani army. By the end of the war, the Pakistanis had lost nearly 200 soldiers, loss of 30+ tanks and 500 additional vehicles. Later we visit Longewala War Museum and understand the historical facts about the war which was fought 46 years ago. We also visit Tanot Mata Temple - the army personnel observed the miracles of Mata Tanot and then, this temple became a centre of special reverence for armed forces. In 1965, during the war, Tanot was a strategic point to move towards Jaisalmer for Pakistani army. They fired at least three thousand bomb shells, at least 450 shells were fired on the temple. All of 450 shells neither hit their targets nor exploded. In the middle of that war zone, the temple stood tall without any damage. Assuming that Mata Tanot is with them, Indian soldiers fought bravely and forced the enemies to flee from their territory. After that 1965 war, BSF established a security post at Tanot and decided to rebuild a grand temple. The present day temple is thus erected by the BSF and became a sacred hotspot of the entire region. The temple is administered by a BSF trust. BSF jawans also performed all the rituals including the morning and evening aartis at the temple. Some of unexploded Pakistani shells and bombs are there on display inside the temple. A Pir Baba’s Majar is also there in the same premises, making it a great symbol of unity and peace.
Today’s lunch and dinner are arranged by Veena World.
