Itinerary (Day Wise)

Tour Guests will arrive at Varanasi Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to hotel. In the evening we take a boat ride at Dashashwamedh Ghat and witness Ganga Arati. Then we have a short Meet & Greet session.

Today we proceed to visit Prayagraj- a beautiful city situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Upon arrival at Prayagraj, we visit Anand Bhavan- the former residence of Nehru family which has now been transformed into a museum showcasing various artefacts and articles of the era of Independence movement in India, Allahabad fort- It was built by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence with the river Ganges. It is the largest fort built by Akbar. Laying Hanuman Temple-The shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. Further we enjoy boat ride in Triveni sangam.

Today we visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple - one of the 12 Jyotilinga, Bharat Mata Temple- displays a map of Undivided India, Banaras Hindu University- formerly Central Hindu College, is a public central university, Sankat Mochan Mandir- dedicated to the Hindu God Hanuman, Birla Mandir- known as the Birla Temple because it is built by the Birla Group of Industries, Tulsi Manas Temple- a temple with great historical and cultural importance in Hinduism, Kaal Bhairav Temple- one of the oldest Shiva temples in Varanasi. In the evening we enjoy Rickshaw ride. Then we haves free time for shopping.

Today morning we visit Aassi Ghat to enjoy Sunrise, then we walk through Akhadas of Varanasi. Later we proeed to Proceed to Sarnath- a very important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. Here we visit Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Museum- famous for the four headed lion that was once on top of the Ashoka Pillar, Tibetan Buddhist Monastery- The peaceful and traditional Monastery. Then we proceed back to Varanasi en route visit Sarai Mohana village known for its silk weaving and craftsmanship.

Today we proceed to Bodhgaya - one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Today we visit Mahabodhi temple - a Unesco World Heritage Site. One of the four holy sites related to the life of the Lord Buddha, and particularly to the attainment of Enlightenment. Great Buddha Statue- an awe-inspiring sight, standing at a height of about 25 m. It is believed to be one of the largest statues in India and shows Lord Buddha sitting on a lotus in a meditative pose, Nippon Japanese temple- one of the most beautiful and popular temples of Bodhgaya. The key attraction of the temple is its intricate wooden carvings which gives it a unique charm, Thai Monastery- Known for its exceptional architecture and stunning beauty. In the evening we have free time for shopping at Tibetan Refugee market.

Today we proceed to Patna- historically known as Pataliputra, is the capital and largest city of the state of Bihar. En-route we visit Vishnupad temple at Gaya - an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple features a 40-cm footprint purported to be of Lord Vishnu incised into a block of basalt, known as Dharmasila which was retained when the deity stepped on Gayasura's chest before pinning him underground. We then visit Nalanda University - World's first residential university and among the greatest centres of learning in the ancient world. Further we visit Vishwashanti stupa at Rajgir- a peace pagoda constructed atop the Ratnagiri Hill. it is one of the seven peace pagodas or shanti stupas in India. In the evening, we arrive at Patna.

Today we proceed to Kushinagar- an important and popular Buddhist pilgrimage site, where Gautama Buddha attained parinirvana after his death. Upon arrival we visit Ramabhar Stupa- it was built over a portion of the Buddha's ashes on the spot where he was cremated by the ancient Malla people, Mahanirvana Tmple- one of the most sacred shrines of the Buddhists across the world, It houses the 6.10 m long idol of Lord Buddha lying in a position when he left his mortal remains at the age of 80 and achieved the supreme state of salvation or permanent bliss.

Today we proceed to Lumbini – The birth place of Buddha. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Today we walk in the footsteps of Buddha and explore the region where he spent his childhood as Prince Siddhartha. The exact spot where Buddha was born is marked here in Lumbini and the site has understandably become one of the world’s most important holy sites.

Today we proceed to Shravasti- It was the capital of the ancient Indian kingdom of Kosala and the place where the Buddha lived most after his enlightenment. Here we visit Jetavana Monastery – one of the main Buddhist monasteries in ancient times, Angulimala Stupa - The stupa was excavated with the other ruins of Shravasti during 1863. The Stupa represents the immense influence of Gautama Buddha, which was indispensable for the development of civilization. Further we visit Daen Mahamongkol Temple- a Buddhist temple and meditation centre.

Today we proceed to Ayodhya- a popular pilgrim centre. This town is closely associated with Lord Rama, upon arrival we visit Hanuman Garhi- a 10th century temple of lord Hanuman. Dashrath Mahal- the original residence of King Dashrath- the ruler of Ayodhya and father to Lord Sri Ram. Ram Janmabhumi- the birthplace of Lord Ram, Kanak Bhavan- It is believed that this Bhawan was gifted to Devi Sita by Kaikei immediately after her marriage to Lord Ram. In the evening we stroll around Ram ki paidi for amazing photography, Treta ke Thakur- where Lord Ram conducted Ashwadmedha Yagya, further we witness a beautiful evening aarti Saryu ghat.

Today we proceed to Lucknow- The city of Nawabs. Upon arrival we visit Ambedkar Park- a public park and a memorial. Further we drive through the marine drive of Lucknow.

Today we explore the city of Lucknow. We visit Rumi darwaja- an example of Awadhi architecture, Clock Tower- India’s largest clock tower, Chota imambara- one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city, Bada imambara- known for its incredible maze, known as Bhul Bhulaiya locally, British residency- a significant part of the Seige of Lucknow (1857), the ruins of which can still be seen at the site. Further we pass by Jama masjid- an important religious centre in Lucknow and Chattar manzil- also known as Umbrella Palace. It still retains its old world charm and now houses the office of the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI).

  • As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
  • Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
  • It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
