Snow World in Hyderabad, Telangana, is an amusement park spread across 2 acres. Every year it attracts thousands of visitors – local, national, and international – who want to beat the heat during the summers. Designed by renowned architect and art director, Nitesh Roy, Snow World is considered to be one of the places to visit in Hyderabad when you are visiting the city. The amusement park is filled with more than 200 tons of artificial snow and there are plenty of fun activities to do in the amusement park, including snow dancing, snow basketball, snow volleyball, Snow Merry-Go-Round, and more. All of this makes Snow World practically a Snow City in Hyderabad. Visit the place with your friends, family, children of the family, and all of you will have a gala time there.

Rides at Snow World

Merry Go Round

Merry Go Round is hands down the most favourite ride of children at an amusement park. Any amusement park is incomplete without a Merry Go Round. So, of course, Snow World has it but with a touch of snow, making the ride even more fun.

Ice Skating and Ice Boarding

You may have seen people doing ice skating in foreign movies and TV series but always wanted to do it here at your home? You get to do that at this snow park in Hyderabad. Whether you want to do ice skating or ice boarding or both, just take your pick and start sliding on the ice.

Bumper Cars

Another ride that any amusement park is incomplete without is bumper cars. There’s just something fun about being able to bump your car against other cars and things and not bear a repair cost. In Snow Park, Hyderabad, you get to drive a car on snow rather than land.

Toboggan Rides

This is one of the popular rides at Snow World. Children love just by looking at it. Here, you get to sledge through several zigzag bends and the rides with you directly falling on snow.

Unique Features of Snow World 

Gradual Acclimatisation

Our body does not take it lightly when the environment suddenly becomes cold. This is why there I a gradual acclimatisation process at Snow World to slowly make the body used to cold temperatures. Visitors are first exposed to 20 degrees temperature, then slowly to zero degrees, and at last to sub-zero temperatures. This ensures your body is not frozen cold by the sudden drop in temperature.

Cryo Zone

Further, Snow World has an in-built cryo-zone. This means that a constant temperature is maintained throughout the premises. The amusement park can accommodate up to 2400 visitors at any given time and the temperature of -5 degrees Celsius is maintained throughout the day.

Café Coffee Day

There is not a corner of India where a café of this renowned Indian franchise is not present. It is present around the Snow World. Visit it any time for coffee, sandwich, tea, or pizza. They are serving throughout the day. It is one of the best places to visit after Snow World.

Hangout Bakery

The name makes it self-evident what it is: it is a bakery where people hang out. But it’s not just a small bakery that sells desserts. You can even have milkshakes, maggi, and many other dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Visit here to relax with some good food.

Daksha Vizianagaram

The one thing Hyderabad is known for is its Biryani. Any visit to Hyderabad is incomplete if you don’t have the special Hyderabadi biryani. You can get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian biryani here. It will make you lick your finger even long after you’re done.

Café Pearl

If you just want to hang out with some good coffee and snacks, Café Pearl is the perfect location. It’s a small café with great snacks on its menu. You can spend an entire day here and you won’t even know where it went by.

Entry Fee

The entry fee for the Snow World, Hyderabad has been divided into 4 categories according to different age groups. Starting with

Child (2 ft to 4 ft 6 in) – Rs 300

Adult (4 ft 6 in and above) – Rs 500

School Students (Up to Class 10th) – Rs 300

College Students (Above 10th Class) – Rs 350


The park is open to the public on all days of the week. The timings of Snow World, Hyderabad, begin from 11 am and go on till 9 pm. This means you can enter the park with your family at 11 am and stay in the park and enjoy till 9 am.

How to Reach There

Reaching the Snow World, Hyderabad is easy. In fact, it is also an integral stop during a Hyderabad city tour. Multiple buses go to the park from Hyderabad Bus Stand. You can even take an auto-rickshaw from the bus stand if that is what you prefer. Remember to haggle prices when if you are taking an auto-rickshaw. Hyderabad also has cab services. Feel free to take out your phone and book a cab directly to Snow World.

Best Time to Visit Snow World

Since it’s a snow city within Hyderabad, the best time to visit it is in the scorching heat of the summer, giving you a perfect escape. Summer in Hyderabad begins in May and late July. It is swamped by locals as well as tourists from all over the country during this period. Make sure that Snow World is a part of your Hyderabad tour package.
