Veena World Travel Mission

Let's remember, our aim is to visit at least fifteen states in India within three years, echoing the appeal made by our Prime Minister. And why not? It's crucial to explore our India, to understand her better. Indians have embraced the Prime Minister's call with enthusiasm, evident from the bustling crowds at tourist destinations across the country. Much like in Europe, where each country boasts diverse cultures, traditions, and religions, India too offers a rich tapestry of diversity across its states. Every state is distinct, with its own language, culture, art, and traditions.

Just as Europe captivates the world and draws tourists from far and wide, our India possesses the same potential to attract global visitors. The tourism sector in India is undergoing a significant transformation, and if this momentum continues, India will make remarkable strides in tourism over the next decade or two. This isn't just a vision; it's a reality we will witness in the coming years. We are contributing our share by showcasing the incredible diversity of India to our fellow citizens.

The growth of tourism will not only benefit large-scale industries but also provide a boost to small-scale businesses. According to international tourism statistics, one tourist creates employment for eight people. Imagine the employment opportunities that will arise if more Indians explore different states within the country.

As winter gradually fades and the heat of the sun becomes more pronounced, we anticipate the scorching summers of April and May. However, there's no need to fret because our vast country, with the majestic Himalayas in the north, offers respite. India, with its spirit of self-reliance, holds solutions to its challenges. This summer vacation, consider visiting a state nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Destinations like Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh eagerly await your arrival. If you have already explored these regions, neighbouring countries like Nepal and Bhutan offer equally captivating experiences.

The wealth of tourist destinations nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas is truly remarkable. However, with airfares soaring, it's wise to book your tours in advance.

Show Your Country!

By now, you have likely heard us chanting ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ in Veena World advertisements, and we genuinely mean it from the depths of our hearts – ‘Dekho Apna Desh, Dil se Pyaar se Samman se!’ Today, however, the focus of this article shifts slightly to ‘Dikhao Apna Desh’. Every year, we make fifty to fifty-five thousand Indian tourists travel around and explore the various states in our country, a tradition that continues steadfastly. Yet, it is also our responsibility and privilege to showcase our rich and diverse India to foreign visitors, and we are fulfilling this duty diligently.

Through our ‘Veena World India Inbound’ division, tourists from not only Europe and America but also from Colombia and Brazil are exploring the wonders of India. Veena World's Tour Managers excel at providing foreign visitors with an exceptional experience of our country. Our goal is to ensure that every group of foreign travellers returns home with unforgettable memories, for it is through their satisfaction that they will inspire others to visit India. While France boasts the highest number of eight crore inbound tourists from across the globe, India is still striving to reach the milestone of one crore inbound tourists. We are playing our part in achieving this goal.

Even our NRIs are reconnecting with India through Veena World's India Inbound tours. Though different from our typical tours, these journeys bring both joy and fulfillment to all involved.

Veena World Customized Holidays
Embarking on the Mission of Self-Drive Adventures

The film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ introduced us to a plethora of new experiences, notably catalyzing tourism in unprecedented ways. While India's tourists hadn't previously flocked to destinations as stunning as Spain, the movie single-handedly propelled Spain into the spotlight as a 'must-see' location for Indian travellers. Who could forget the iconic road trip through Costa Brava depicted in the film? Those three friends breathed life into the concept of a self-drive holiday. Following the movie's release, the demand for self-drive vacations surged. Nowadays, self-drive holidays have become increasingly commonplace, with ten percent of travellers opting for this mode of exploration when booking private individual Customized Holidays with Veena World. These excursions predominantly take place in destinations such as New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Europe, and America, necessitating an international driving license. It's essential to ascertain whether the country you are visiting drives on the left or right side of the road; Australia, New Zealand, and the UK drive on the left, while Europe and the USA drive on the right. While adjusting to driving on the opposite side may require some practice, once mastered, it streamlines the journey ahead.

It's advisable not to embark on your self-drive adventure immediately upon reaching your destination. Allow yourself a full night's rest before commencing the journey. Maintain a moderate speed, ensuring you retain control of the vehicle. When faced with challenges such as navigation mishaps or driving in the wrong lane, maintain a calm demeanour. While the primary aim of a self-drive is reaching the destination, it's crucial not to overlook the enjoyment of the journey itself. Take regular breaks, explore quaint villages along the way, and immerse yourself in the experience. As the adage goes, ‘It's not the destination but the journey that matters’, emphasizing the significance of savouring each moment.

Additionally, refrain from leaving valuables in rental cars during self-drives, particularly in Europe and America, where incidents of theft have been on the rise. Rental prices typically range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 per day. New Zealand, in its entirety, offers an unparalleled self-drive experience, with both the North and South Islands offering breath-taking vistas. Australia boasts the mesmerizing Melbourne Victoria's Great Ocean Road and the Pacific Coast Drive between Sydney and Brisbane. Europe, the UK, and America present some amazing opportunities for self-drive adventures. Begin your journey anywhere and end it anywhere – you won't regret it!

So, if you have a passion for driving, if you are a seasoned traveller seeking the thrill of a self-drive holiday, reach out to Veena World Customized Holidays today.
