Travel Guidelines 2023
In the year 2020, the entire world faced an unprecedented situation with the outbreak of the pandemic. Many travel restrictions were imposed by various state and central governments of countries around the world. Many of these regulations are in place now and it is our duty as responsible citizens to abide by them.
We request all guests to abide by the mandatory requirements for travel to the destination, such as RT-PCR tests, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests.
Travel Guidelines 2023
Guests must ensure the following:
Covid test
If testing for COVID-19 is a travel requirement for entry to the state/country, the guests will have to take the specified test (72/96 hours prior) and carry the test reports, which must be valid at the time of entry as per the state/country guidelines. In case the result of the COVID-19 test is positive prior to thetour, guest will not be able to join the said tour. Get in touch with travel advisor for alternate solution.
Self-Health Declaration
If Self-Health Declaration is a travel requirement then kindly fill-in the same.
Arogya Setu App
It is advisable to download and register your details on the Aarogya Setu App which should be presented to the said officials if asked for. A green status on your Aarogya Setu App is required for travel.
Safety
Adhere to safety guidelines as outlined by Hotels/Airlines/Associates/sightseeing places. It is mandatory to use a mask and carry hand sanitizer at all times while on tour
Hygiene
Social distancing should be followed stringently at all times. Maintaining personal hygiene is a must at all times during the tour.
Precautions
Intimation to respective representative, Tour Manager or Travel advisor is must, if you observe any symptoms related to COVID-19, so necessary precautions can be taken to avoid further spread.

Guests Obligation
All guests travelling to Port Blair if fully vaccinated (irrespective of the type of vaccine and country of origin) shall be exempted from the requirement of carrying RT-PCR negative test report provided they are able to produce the final vaccination certificate at the origin airport and Port Blair Airport
All guests who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelling to Port Blair shall have to mandatorily carry RT-PCR negative test report issued from a ICMR approved lab, subject to condition that RT-PCR test should have been taken within 48 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Such guests shall also be required to undergo a RT-PCR test upon arrival free of cost and will have to self-isolate themselves till result is received
Children below the age of 5 years are exempted from pre-departure and post arrival RT PCR tests
HAND WRITTEN REPORTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.

2.Residents of North Eastern States other than Assam who are arriving in any airport in Assam from outside the state and are directly travelling onwards to any other Norther Eastern States shall be exempted from on arrival testing provided they are able to produce proof of address in the North Eastern States and are asymptomatic.
3.All guests who are vaccinated with two doses of Covid-19 vaccines and possess final vaccination certificate are exempted from mandatory testing on arrival

2. In view of the surge in number of COVID-19 cases, random sample collection will be done for guests arriving from states where there has been a spurt in number for COVID-19 cases.
3. guests will be allowed to exit after sample collection
Quarantine
1. guests who are found positive will be quarantined at home or CCC/CHC/Hospital for 10 days.
Guests Obligation
1. It is thereby clarified that, COVID negative certificate shall mean RT-PCR/ TrueNat/ CBNAAT, Rapid Antigen Test or any other test as approved by ICMR.
2.guests in possession of final vaccination certificate, i.e., those who have taken both doses and have completed 15 days since the receipt of the 2nd dose shall be exempted from pre-departure RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT/RAT requirement
3. guests without final vaccination certificate mandatorily have to carry a COVID negative test report for a test done a maximum of 72 hours prior to entering in Goa.
4. Passenger entering in Goa for medical emergency, on production of proof are exempted from testing.
The permitted exemptions for negative RT-PCR certificates are as follows
Children below 5 years.

Guests Obligation
guests arriving into Gujarat are not required to possess negative RT-PCR certificate anymore.
2. However, guests must ensure that they continue wearing masks, carry sanitizers, and maintain social distancing at all times.
3. Symptomatic individuals (Covid-19 or flu like symptoms) should avoid Non-essential and interstate travel to reduce the risk of infection.
4. If any symptoms of COVID is seen, the passenger will have to get the test done at the airport on arrival.
5. All guests must download Aarogya Setu App.
Exemption
guests in possession of full vaccination certificate and have completed 15 days after second dose, provided they do not have any symptoms.
*Directive for guests arriving from Kerala and Maharashtra:
1. Carry RT-PCR Negative Test Report done within 72 hours Prior to departure.
2. If any passenger is not carrying RT-PCR then passenger shall undergo free of cost Rapid Antigen test on arrival.
3. guests suffering from any disease have to undergo RAT test on arrival and immediately should isolate accordingly.
4. If the passenger's RAT test found negative then the sample shall be send for RT-PCR test.
5. If the passenger is found covid-19 positive, then the passenger should get admitted for treatment as per the guidelines and Genome Sequence shall be done.
6. If guests do not have symptoms but yet to take vaccination then they should monitor themselves for a period of 14 days and send details to medical officer for follow up.

4.Ensure guests travelling from Maharashtra, Kerala and Goa State to Karnataka state are in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or Final Vaccination Certificate

Following passenger categories are exempted from above mentioned requirement
a.Constitutional functionaries and healthcare professionals
b.Children below the age of 2 years
c.guests travelling under emergency situations such as death in family, medical treatment etc., In such situations guests swab will be taken on arrival and further action shall be decided basis the test result
Quarantine
1. Mandatory 7-day institutional quarantine for All students arriving from Kerala State in pursuance of their studies in any discipline but not restricted to nursing, medical, engineering, para medical, etc.
Guests Obligation
1. The RT-PCR negative test report is not required for the guests who have taken two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
2. The guests possessing final vaccination certificate should carry the certificate while attending the activities for which RT-PCR report is made mandate. However, those who have developed symptoms of COVID-19 shall undergo RT-PCR test and carry the negative result.
3. guests who visit the State for a short period for purposes like business, official, trade, medical, court cases, property management or any like purposes shall be mandatory required to carry RT-PCR negative report not earlier than 72 hours . RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time.
4. All guests shall be required to register their details on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ and obtain e-pass.
5. Upon arrival, guests are required to show their e-pass to the Health Officials at airport.
6. All guests intending to visit any other State or UT after entering Kerala shall be required to have the entry pass for Kerala and the State or UT s/he intends to visit.
7. All guests must download Aarogya Setu App.
8.All guests shall be required to register their details on Generate e-Pass
Exemptions:
Infants (0-2 years)
The Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) for travelers visiting Kerala.
1. All guests travelling into Kerala should register in e-Jagratha portal.
2. If guests undertaking RT-PCR test on arrival, isolation is must at their respective places of stay till RT-PCR report is available.
3. If RT-PCR test is positive, patient should seek medical attention from health institution.
4. If RT-PCR test is negative, the passenger should follow strict universal masking, safe distancing and hand hygiene during their stay in Kerala. If they develop symptoms(fever, cough, sore throat, breathlessness, muscle pain, fatigability, anosmia, diarrhoea) during their stay in Kerala, they should seek medical attention immediately.
5. guests who do not carry a negative RT-PCR nor are fully vaccinated, can avail testing facility on arrival.

2. Asymptomatic guests are required to undergo 14 days of home quarantine. i.e. 7 days paid institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by 7 days’ isolation at home with self-monitoring of health.

1.Tourists who are fully vaccinated will be allowed entry into the State.
2.Tourists who are vaccinated with a single dose and minors in the age group between 11-18 years who are accompanying adult tourists will have to produce negative RT-PCR/TruNat/CBNAAT report which will be valid only if they have tested within 72 hours prior to their arrival at the entry point.
3.Given the prevailing COVID-19 situation, it is advised that tourists even though fully vaccinated but having symptoms should avoid travelling to the State. Such symptomatic individuals, even though fully vaccinated, will be tested at the entry point.
4.Protocol for under 18-year-olds for all tourists (domestic, international and local)
a.For stay in hotels, a negative RT-PCR/TruNat/CBNAAT report tested within 72 hours prior to check-in is to be produced for those in the age group of 11-18 years. Children aged 10 years and below are exempted.
b.Under 18 individuals, accompanied with family member/s, will be allowed to enter tourist spots, restaurants and cafes if other adult members in the family are eligible to enter as per protocols mentioned above.

1.All guests undergoing RT-PCR test on arrival shall be required to undergo home or paid quarantine as designated by the authorities on arrival till the test result is received which is usually available within 48 Hours
2.All guests entering and exiting the state on the same day shall be required to be confined to their area of work

5.guests not in possession of RT-PCR negative report or Final Vaccination certificate shall be required to undergo test upon arrival at their own cost

2. All guests with or without negative COVID-19 report will be subjected mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival.
Quarantine
1.All arriving guests after undergoing RAT test on arrival shall be quarantined in a facility appointed by the Government or Deputy Commissioner and shall undergo RT-PCR/TrueNAT test after 5 days. If negative shall be released from quarantine
2. Exemptions from Quarantine and on arrival testing:
- guests looking for exemption from quarantine and on arrival testing can do so if in possession of negative RT-PCR/ True Nat/ CBNAAT, conducted from an ICMR approved lab within 72 hours of arrival into the state. RT-PCR/ True Nat/ CBNAAT timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
- Be in possession of final vaccination certificate (i.e. both the doses complete and should have surpassed 15 days from the receipt of the 2nd dose).
- Be in possession of Certificate of discharge from Home Isolation or COVID care facility issued by the competent authority within 3 months prior to the date of entry into the state.
Guests Obligation
1.All incoming guests from all states have to produce mandatory RAT/ RT-PCR negative report which must be done maximum 48 hours prior to arrival in Bhubaneswar or a final dose of COVID vaccination certificate.
2.eople coming without such report shall have to undergo mandatory RAT test at the testing facility created at Bhubaneswar Airport.
3.Rapid Antigen Test is available on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport (free of cost) for the guests not carrying RT-PCR test report or 2nd dose of Vaccination report.
4.All guests must download Aarogya Setu App.

3. All guests must submit Self-Health Declaration and go through screening process.
4.guests traveling to Udaipur are mandatorily required to upload a copy of their RT-PCR negative report on http://emitra.rajasthan.gov.in
5. All guests must download Aarogya setu App.
Screening
1.Mandatory for guests arriving into Jaipur or Udaipur to be in possession of negative RT-PCR which will have to be issued from up to a maximum of 72Hours before the time of arrival or be in possession of final vaccination certificate, i.e., those who have taken both doses. RT-PCR timeline starts from the sample collection time.
2.It is mandatory for guests arriving into Jodhpur from other states/UT to carry a negative RT-PCR which will have to be issued from up to a maximum of 72Hours before the time of arrival. RT-PCR timeline starts from the report issuance time
Quarantine
1. Symptomatic guests shall be isolated and taken to nearest health facility.
2. guests undergoing RT-PCR test on arrival shall be required to undergo 7 days home quarantine
Guests Obligation
1. Download 'Aarogya Setu App'.
2.Guests shall compulsory register themselves at https://www.sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/Index/mandatorytourist before travelling to Sikkim.
Screening
1.Thermal screening for all guests.
2. Only those guests who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 are permitted to travel to Sikkim.
3. If a family is travelling together as tourists to Sikkim and at least one of them is fully vaccinated (both doses) and others are partially vaccinated (one dose) or accompanied by children below the age of 18 years, all of them would still be permitted to enter Sikkim, provided that a valid negative RT-PCR test report must be carried by all those members who are only partially vaccinated & children below the age of 18 years.
4.Test for their RT-PCR report should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to arrival.

1.If any tourist arrives without a test, then they should get It done at the nearest COVID testing centres at specified testing locations in the state

2. guests originating their journey from any city in Kerala state to any city in Tamil Nadu state shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or final vaccination certificate (i.e. both doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
3.guests originating their journey from any city in Kerala state to any city in Tamil Nadu state shall be mandatorily required to be in possession of RT-PCR negative certificate of not older than 72Hours from an ICMR accredited lab or final vaccination certificate (i.e., both doses complete). RT-PCR timeline starts from the time of sample collection.
4.For passenger arriving in CJB, following shall apply:
- It is advisable for all guests arriving in CJB to have carry a negative RT-PCR report not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. The same is not applicable for guests travelling from other cities within Tamil Nadu.
- In case the passenger arrives without RT-PCR report, COVID testing shall be done free of cost at the airport and the guests shall be released after sample is taken. Further action will be taken basis the test result.
5. Customers who undergo test on arrival and are:
- Found to be positive and symptomatic, will be taken to hospital isolation.
- Found to be negative and asymptomatic, will have to undergo for self monitoring for 14 days.
- Found to be negative and symptomatic, will be taken to hospital isolation and decided based on Medical Opinion.

1. 07 days of Home Quarantine & 07 days of self monitoring for all guests arriving into Tamil Nadu from Maharashtra & Kerala.
2. 14 days of self monitoring for all guests arriving into Tamil Nadu from other states/UT.

5. Passenger will need to register on state website before they exit the arrival hall using below web link or phone number

7.Exemptions:
1. guests possessing final vaccination certificate (completed both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine)
2. Children upto 12 years at the Lucknow airport.

1. There are now no covid-19 vaccination requirements for adults or children to enter Bhutan from September 23rd 2022. There is no quarantine period.
2. All individuals (12 years and above) entering Bhutan may be subjected to random RT-PCR testing at the points of entry or at the worksite to maintain covid-19 surveillance for new variants. No fee shall be charged for the RT-PCR testing for surveillance.
3. If a guest tests positive for covid-19 during their stay in Bhutan, they will be required to quarantine in their hotel until they test negative. 1. All fully vaccinated guest with WHO approved vaccines are no longer required to be in possession of a negative PCR certificate while travelling to Nepal if they are able to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival;

- guests must ensure that accommodation bookings are made only at licensed establishments or liveaboards that have been certified by the Public Health Authority. Visitors are not permitted to stay at private residences.
- Once COVID19 PCR test results are received, all guests must submit Health travel authorisation (HTA) for approval. Please note that your travel authorisation must be valid up to one day after your scheduled arrival for you to be accepted for travel.

- Individuals who are fully vaccinated (either in Korea or overseas) and show no signs of symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, etc.) during the health screening process and on their Health Questionnaire may proceed to their destination after immigration check.
- All guests are required to take a PCR test within 1 day (before 23:59 the next day) after arriving in Korea. Short-term visitors can take a PCR test at the COVID-19 Testing Center inside the Incheon International Airport or at a nearby medical clinic at their own expense. Long-term visitors may take a PCR test at a public health center near their home/accommodation.
- Guests must stay at their place of residence or accommodation until test results become available.
- Symptomatic
Guests showing signs of a fever (37.5 ℃ or higher), coughing, difficulty in breathing, and/or other possible signs of COVID-19 upon entry to Korea must take a PCR test at the Arrivals Hall or the quarantine facility (Central Quarantine & Medical Support Center). If the test result is positive, the individual will be transferred to a hospital or residential treatment center depending on the severity.
If the test result is negative, the individual is exempted from quarantine and must take a follow-up Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on Day 6 or 7 after their arrival. To perform a RAT, visitors can either use a self-test kit or visit a nearby medical clinic.
After taking a test, visitors must take their personal car or a quarantine taxi and wait at the place of residence or accommodation until the results are available. All visitors must inquire at the testing facility and follow the provided procedure

1. Fully vaccinated guests are not required to take any COVID‑19 tests before travelling to Sri Lanka.
2. guests who have recovered from COVID‑19 between 7 days and 6 months before the date of departure, and who have been vaccinated at least with a single dose of a 2‑dose vaccine 14 days before travel are exempt from the pre‑departure COVID‑19 testing requirement. They must present a positive COVID‑19 PCR or rapid antigen test result in English as proof that they were previously infected.

Guests entering Tanzania and passengers transiting through land borders who are:
- . Fully vaccinated will be exempt from both COVID 19 RT PCR and rapid antigen testing requirements. Guests will be required to present a valid vaccination certificate with a QR code for verification on arrival. The only accepted vaccines are those approved by the URT and the World Health Organization.

Not fully vaccinated, unvaccinated and those not eligible for vaccination due to their country policy will be required to present a negative COVID 19 RT PCR or NAATs test certificate with a QR code issued within 72 hours before departure. Passengers travelling from countries listed on the Ministry of Health website(Opens an external website in a new tab) must undergo rapid antigen testing on arrival at their own cost of USD 10 (TZS 23,000). Guests who test positive they undergo RT PCR testing to confirm and will be allowed to self isolate while waiting for their results.
