Quick Summary

Use travel moments to capture photos that help future travelers understand a destination for years to come.

Include more than scenery by photographing local day to day life, food, entertainment, and lifestyle.

Bring patience for waiting and for setting up the perfect shot, especially when conditions are unpredictable.

When shooting on uneven ground, stabilize your DSLR with a tripod and secure your bag in windy weather.

Use your phone over WiFi to control your camera so you can get yourself in the frame too.

“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.”

Another week, another story! Here’s what our Tour Manager, Yash Pawar has to show you from around the world.

Also read it in his own words!

“Travelling to a wonderful place certainly helps an individual click beautiful snaps of the place and capture the moment for the lifetime. That is where my job of a Tour Manager holds a significant role. As a Tour Manager, I visit many known tourist places across India, some of historic and other places of tourism significance, and capture the places in the form of photos, so that I can use these photos to promote the places among the tourists and other travellers across the globe.

Loving travel and having an eye for a great shot are not enough. I need patience, both in waiting and creating that perfect shot, and in terms of my career I am unlikely to make it overnight. The snaps taken by me would help the viewer to gather a lot of information about the travel location. Apart from natural scenery and wildlife, it would also include snaps detailing day-to-day life of the locals residing in that particular travel location. The subject of my photography can be nature, food and dining, entertainment, lifestyle or anything else about a location that may interest future travellers.

Your fellow travelers are always busy with clicking pictures of themselves and you don't get pictures of yourself the way you wanted them to come out and the way you framed it in your head. Apparently I had to setup my DSLR on a Tripod on a very uneven land and I had to hang my bag to the tripod as it was very windy. I connected my camera with my phone through WiFi and opted to operate my camera with my phone and ended up with ones of my best shots with me being in the frame as well as behind the camera! That’s the image you see as the cover of this blog! :)

Here are some of the clicks that are closer to my heart.”

Well, hope you enjoyed seeing the world through his eyes! Wait up for next Wednesday, another such story coming. Till then, keep thinking of these dreamy locations!
