About Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the most famous national parks in India, where a wide array of species and flora & fauna exists. By Road

Highways SH 11, 22, and NH 43 are close to the national park, which are regular routes for cabs to reach the place.

By Rail

Umaria is the closest railway station to Bandhavgarh National Park. It is a short 40-minute drive from the railway station to reach the national park. It is important to note that only jeeps are available for transfer.

By Air

You can conveniently take a flight to Khajuraho to reach Bandhavgarh National Park. It takes 7-8 hours to reach the park from Khajuraho.

There are four safari zones in Bandhavgarh National Park with the largest biodiversity in Tala and Magadhi regions. Jeep safari is available for tourists and covers the jungle wilderness spotting various rare species. Usually, the dry season (from October to May) is considered excellent for the Bandhavgarh jungle safari. 6 passengers are seated in one jeep, accompanied by a naturalist and a driver. The Bandhavgarh safari timing is from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm until dusk.
