Appreciation Mail - *****A : Hi, We place on record our thanks and appreciation to our tour managers Mr.Balaji Kamble, Mr.Harshal and our Relationship Manager Ms.Shwetharani at Bangalore and the entire team of Veena World for making our travel experience wonderful, hassle free and a memorable one. When we conceived of the idea of having a family tour sometime back in December, Veena World was completely unheard of. It was through reference of a family friend; we came to know of Veena World. We indeed explored alternatives including online giants, however the fact of Veena World offering to include almost every expense during tour days made it an easy selection. Ms.Shwetarani was facilitative not only in the usual registration process, but also to suggest alternative destinations suitable to the travel days. Two things where we specifically thank are for altering the itinerary to commence travel from Bangalore and to have House boat stay experience on the first day. Even after choosing to travel Kashmir, there was apprehension on security issues prevalent at the destination. It was Mr.Balaji Kamble who made us feel like him a family member waiting for us back there. His introductory session including what to expect and what not on infrastructure, utilities, people, how to interact with the locals on limited occasions wherever needed etc was useful. Throughout the travel days on each destination his briefing on the places, time to spend, probably made us enjoy each bit of the itinerary. Another issue while travelling in a large group was to have everyone on time, he and Harshal ensured with wake up calls and suggestions on schedule, negated this issue. Gulmarg Gondola ride was on our bucket list. We feel lucky to get tickets for both the Phases and to witness snowfall & play with it. On coming to know that rides were cancelled for the next 2-3 days made it even more special. Gulmarg was literally the icing on cake. Entire itinerary is well planned to have lunch, tea breaks on time and ensure no long travels at a stretch. Food was also good considering the available options, which is probably difficult for individual travelers to manage. We are happy with our decision to choose Veena World and are already referring you whenever we are asked of Kashmir experience. A minor suggestion would be to have flight tickets booked under Corporate booking with meal options available. During long flight duration it will make the experience better probably at a slight cost. Once again, a big thanks from the entire Mandali. Hope to see you guys again soon. Regards Sudarshan Acharya
Kashmir trip - ***** - Thank you note : Dear Veena World Team, With this email I would like to thank Veena World for the perfect organizing and execution of our Kashmir trip. It is really difficult to manage such a large group with elders and small kids. Also it was ensured that the itinerary is carried out as planned very professionally. Our tour guides, Mr. Balaji and Mr. Harshal, were there throughout the trip as if they were part of our family. They made sure that our group, affectionately called “Mandali” by Balaji, was well taken care off and had a memorable experience. From picking the group up from the airport to taking them back to the airport, they took care of everything from making sure we had enough water bottles, the rules of conduct, and the perfect food at the resort. Once we were on an excursion, they made sure that lunch was prepared and ready in a good restaurant, hot Maggi was ready before we arrived at a tourist spot to avoid wait time, tea was made available on multiple occasions. On the last day of departure, the arrangement of packed lunches was a very good idea and helped us to have a decent lunch at airport. Balaji informed us daily of the plan for the next day, what time we need to be ready, and sometimes even an early breakfast was arranged so that we could start early. Harshal was our photographer who took some wonderful and beautiful pictures throughout the trip. Kashmir is nothing less than heaven on earth, we had only seen the pictures and videos in the movies, this trip exceeded our expectation of how beautiful Kashmir is and it was visual retreat. Veena World customized our trip to suit our needs and covered the major places like Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Staying in the houseboat was a different experience altogether, the carvings and interiors of the houseboats were very beautiful. The sudden change in weather added to the fact that how things could change so quickly there. We were also lucky enough to take a gondola ride at Gulmarg, as many others were unable to go. Veena World had booked our tickets in advance so we were able to experience the snowfall and the kids were able to enjoy the real snow for the first time. We also visited Apple Garden and saffron fields. Tasting fresh apple juice was a nice experience. After seeing our WhatsApp status, many friends and colleagues asked about the different places we visited, our tour itinerary and also the details about the package, I have already recommended Veena world to them. - As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
- Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
- It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
- A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
- Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
- If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
- For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
- Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
