Tipu Sultan Palace

 Bangalore Fort

Originally a mud fort, it was transformed into a granite fort by Hyder Ali after he presided over the city in 1761 and further reformed by his son Tipu Sultan. The fort remained intact till the early 20th century, but some of the parts were later dismantled by the civil authorities for the development of roads and hospitals.
