Bhomoraguri:
The Ahoms ruled Assam for nearly six centuries from the 13th to the 19th century. The Ahom General Kalia Bhomora Phukan planned to construct a bridge over the Brahmaputra river which would connect the districts of Nagaon and Tezpur.
