Travel Guidelines for tours between Jan-Mar 2021

Last year in 2020 the entire world faced an unprecedented situation with the outbreak of the pandemic. Many travel restrictions were imposed by various state and central governments of countries around the world. Many of these regulations are in place now and it is our duty as responsible citizens to abide by them.

We request all guests to abide by the mandatory requirements for travel to the destination, such as RT-PCR tests, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests.

Guests must ensure the following:

  • If testing for Covid-19 is a travel requirement for entry to the state/country, the guests will have to take the specified test (72/96 hrs prior) and carry the test reports, which must be valid at the time of entry as per the state/country guidelines. In case the result of the Covid-19 test is positive prior to the tour, guest will not be able to join the said tour. Get in touch with travel advisor for alternate solution.
  • If Self-Health Declaration is a travel requirement then kindly fill-in the same.
  • It is advisable to download and register your details on the Aarogya Setu App which should be presented to the said officials if asked for. A green status on your Aarogya Setu App is required for travel.
  • It is mandatory to use a mask and carry handsanitizer at all times while on tour
  • Social distancing should be followed stringently at all times.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene is a must at all times during the tour.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines as outlined by Hotels/Airlines/Associates/sightseeing places
  • Intimation to respective representative, Tour Manager or Travel advisor is must, if you observe any symptoms related to Covid, so necessary precautions can be taken to avoid further spread.

Kindly note given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.

2. Symptomatic passengers required to go for Institutional Quarantine till the test results are available. Further course of action shall be decided by health Authorities on the basis of test results.

Arunachal PradeshGuests Obligation1. All guests shall have to mandatory carry RT-PCR or True NAT negative test report issued from a ICMR approved lab, subject to condition that RT-PCR test should have been taken within 72 hours prior to the date of arrival.
2. While applying for tourist inner line permit, following documents should be submitted:
i. Valid COVID - 19 negative certificate of tourist.
ii. Tour booking slip.
iii. Tour itinerary with details of place of visit and stay.
iv. Details of vehicle, Driver, and Tour Guide Information

RT-PCR TEST-
1. Passengers who have undergone COVID-19 RT-PCR Test from ICMR approved centres not before 72 hrs of their arrival at GAU (Guwahati Airport) and their test results are negative are exempted from COVID-19 Test at Airport.
2. Elderly passengers above age 75 are exempted from Test.
3. Those who have not undergone RT- PCR test before arrival ,COVID-19 swab test will be conducted upon arrivals. Antigen test available in GAU (Guwahati Airport).
4. Antigen Test result is Positive then Passengers will be moved to COVID-19 facility for further processing.
5. Antigen Test result is Negative then, SWAB test will be done and  sent for RT-PCR test. Passenger are allowed to proceed and Home Quarantine for 5 days within which RT-PCR results will be shared.

- Passengers who visit the State for a short period for purposes like business, official, trade, medical, court cases, property management or any like purposes will be exempted. Government have allowed them to visit the State for a period up to 7 days without mandatory quarantine ONLY after obtaining entry passes through COVID-19 jagratha portal.
- Details of local itinerary along with the purpose of visit and local accommodation and contact person to be provided.
- For any other reasons, authorities to be informed with valid reasons.

3. Mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival  if not carrying COVID-19 negative certificate using RT-PCR Test, no later than 48 hours before their arrival in Ladakh from ICMR approved Test laboratories.
4. To Submit Self-Health Declaration upon arrival.
Screening1. Thermal screening shall be done for all passengers.
 2. COVID-19 negative report (not earlier than 72 hours of arrival) are MANDATORY for entry into Ladakh.
Quarantine1. If Passengers are not carrying COVID-19 negative report then mandatory 7 days Home Quarantine.
2. Passengers may have to be tested for COVID-19 & if tested positive, passengers will be transferred to COVID-19 facility for further processing.
3. If test report is negative then the passengers shall be released from mandatory quarantine.

3. Passenger not having RT-PCR report must undergo RT-PCR test at the airport at their own expense.

Screening1. Passenger Must carry negative COVID-19 report on arrival (not earlier than 72 hours prior to arrival).
2. IF passengers not carrying negative COVID-19 report then RT-PCR test for all arriving passengers on chargeable basis.
Quarantine1. If tested positive then passengers will be transferred to COVID-19 facility centre for further course of action.

3. Passenger with Valid m-pass will be allowed to boarded the flights.

3. Passengers not carrying negative COVID-19 report from ICMR recognised lab will be subject to medical counter at entry point by RAPID ANTIGEN TEST.
Quarantine1. NO QUARANTINE for those reaching Mizoram with an RT-PCR, TRUENAT/CBNAAT negative report (from ICMR recognized lab) not earlier than 96 hours from arrival.

5. The QR code obtained to be made readily available for verification by immigration upon entry in Maldives.
6. To present  test result in paper or electronic format during the airline check-in.

Quarantine1. Not subjected to a 14 day quarantine however must be in possession of RT PCR negative certificate in English in print or electronic form, from a government-approved laboratory in India (ICMR) issued no more than 96 hours before departure. 96 Hours is calculated from the time for sample collection.
2. RT-PCR certificate must contain name as per passport, name and address of the testing laboratory, Type of test, date of sample collection and result.
Rules1. All travellers coming to India need to submit the self declaration form on the online Air Suvidha Portal www.newdelhiairport.in before their scheduled travel and also upload a COVID-19 negative RT-PCR report. This test needs to be conducted within 72 hours of conducting the journey.
2. COVID-19 test be done at the resort in Maldives 2 days before the scheduled departure time which costs USD 175 per person for flying back to India (payable directly at the resort by the guest).
